I am a lifelong dog lover and have dedicated safecollars.com to the safety and best care for our four legged companions. I hope you get as much out of the site as the passion that’s been put into it.
For all of you cat lovers out there, I am also a fan. In fact, at one time I had five cats and a dog at the same time and really admired all of their different personalities.
Of course I so adored and loved our dog Prince because he acted just like dogs do…. always had time for any of us, always really happy to see you and on quite a few occasions, he would be my comfort when I was in the naughty corner or if I was just sad for some reason. There is no substitute for that!!!
As for our Cats, there was snowy who was all white, affectionate and wise. John-henry was an adventurer and mostly around for meals but very lovable. Socks was the dominant one who was in a scrap from time to time and kept other cats out of our domain.
Ginger was a stray that we nursed back to health and watched transform into the most beautiful cat who was seemingly always around and very loyal. Tinkerbell was specifically my Sister’s cat and was too arrogant to socialize with our other cats, was mostly indoors and spoilt rotten, but very pretty and affectionate towards us.
So that was us, however when it comes to collars, leads & harnesses, it is much less a safety and care consideration for felines other than identification, size & style. That is why the primary focus of this site is for canines.
